Introduction

Create a light-up 4th of July card with red, white, and blue LEDs!

There's a full-color version as well as a black & white version that makes a great coloring activity.

You can make this project (and many more!) with our Paper Circuits Kit.

    • Poke holes through front for LED legs, then push legs through front.

    • On inside of card, bend the LED legs down flat against paper as shown.

    • Add Maker Tape and battery to complete your circuit.

    • Note: If you are using thicker paper (such as cardstock) we recommend using a large safety pin to poke the holes in the paper to put the LED legs through.

  2. Red, White & Blue are common colors for the 4th of July, but you can use whatever colors you want... Get Creative! You can even use green LEDs or go nuts and use color changing LEDs found in our Paper Circuits Kits.

    • The LEDs in our kits have built-in resistors, so mixing colors in a single circuit will work just fine.

Conclusion

Enjoy your card!
