Dual Axis Solar Tracker 1.0

The PDF and video below belong to our OLD Dual Axis Solar Tracker. We no longer sell the 1.0 version, though we have made all the files open source and free to download. The full new version of this project can be bought here.

You can download the code and laser cut files here for the 1.0.

Differences between the 1.0 and 2.0 versions:

• More 1/8th inch wood to relieve stress on the servos
• Custom Arduino Shield
• Custom Sensor Holder
• Use of Ribbon Cables over terminal blocks
• Removes 95% of the work for the electronics
• Fixes some minor laser cutting issues.

If you'd like to discuss the Tracker 1.0 please post questions and comments in our web forum. It's still a great option for those who wish to use all off the shelf parts, or a great starting point for building your own project.
