Introduction

Build an analog, hand-cranked, LEGO-based Larson Scanner using our Crazy Circuits system. Turning the crank will rotate the cylinder and cause each circuit to be completed in sequence.

Note: You can use more or less LEDs than what we've used in our guide. This project can be scaled up or down quite easily.
So far our favorite crank is made with two pieces. The LEGO Technic Half Beam 3 with Knob and Pin (33299 / 61408) and the LEGO Pin Joiner Round with Slot (29219 / 62462)
