Introduction

Use these easy to make Paper Circuits Cubes to demonstrate the basics of circuitry. Learn about open and closed circuits, polarity, power and components.

Besides our Paper Circuits Kit (which contains Maker Tape, batteries, and LEDs) you'll need a few magnets, washers, and tape.

  1. If you haven't built any cubes yet make sure to check out the guide for Paper Circuits Cubes first. Use this cube along with a CR2032 Battery to power your circuits. Reminder: Assemble the cube before you apply the Maker Tape.

  2. You should be able to power LEDs and most other components with a fresh CR2032 3.3 volt battery. If you have components that need more voltage it is possible to double stack two batteries to get more power. You won't increase the amount of current, so running a fan or other power hungry component should only be used briefly for demonstration purposes.
