Introduction

A 3D Printed LEGO Technic Compatible Pen Holder. This is used in the Bit Board Rover Kit. We are sharing the file in case you want to print your own.

    • This file works well with a Fine Point Sharpie Marker (or any other pen/marker that is less than 13mm in diameter) but other versions suitable for larger markers will be added soon.

    • The Pen Holder requires a 3mm hex nut to be inserted into the cavity on the inside of the circular part. A 3mm bolt (at least 10mm long) then threads through the nut and can be tightened against the pen to hold it in place.

    • Part too tight? Try sanding it or cutting away some material with a knife.

    • Part too loose? Add some tape to act as a shim.

    • You can also try printing it at slightly more or less than 100% scale.
