You can download the files and print them on your own 3D Printer.
-
Find the files in our GitHub repository: https://github.com/BrownDogGadgets/3D-Pr...
-
You can also find the files on Printables and Thingiverse.
-
We have files will work with the 20m and 5m rolls of 1/4" wide Maker Tape and the 5m rolls of our 1/8" wide Maker Tape.

We've made some improvements to the Large version by simplifying the design. There is now the main body of the holder and four separate clips that snap into place.
-
These modifications are the result of working hands-on with educators for the past year. Thank you for your input!
-
We recommend printing the clip at a higher resolution (0.2 layer height or less) for the best quality. No support is needed.
-
Get the 1/4" holder here: https://github.com/BrownDogGadgets/3D-Pr...

-
We also created a version for the small (5m) rolls of our 1/8" Maker Tape.
-
While 1/4" wide Maker Tape is great for paper circuits, 1/8" Maker Tape is generally used as part of our Crazy Circuits brick-based electronics system.

Every 3D printer is a little different! If your parts don't fit together easily here are a few things to try.
-
Is the peg too tight? You can try to sand it down a little. You want a snug fit but not so tight it cannot freely pivot after inserted.
-
You can also try printing it at slightly more or less than 100% scale if the fit isn't quite right.
-
If you have any issues, please get in touch and let us know! We are always looking to improve things.
